MARKOVICE Postrelmov
was founded in 1953 in village Postřelmov. The founders of Markovice are Miroslav and Libuše Drtil, and they are its present leaders too. Group represents folklore of Northern Haná region with aims to revive and retain folk culture abroad, to keep this heritaged treasure for next generations. Group name comes from near local hill dominatings country Markovice.
Folklore group Markovice is also one of the main organizers of the International Folklore Festival I.O.V. Šumperk
